I had a great opportunity to shoot a fashion and beauty concept for young gorgeous actress and model from Belgium, Pauline Grossen. Helped by Evara Collin as our Make Up Artist, we put together an absolutely fantastic team. Evara created makep up and hair style exactly as expected.
Pauline, Evara and I arranged concept through intensive email discussion to decide on styling, wardrobe, accesories, make up and hair for the shoot, and it was very much a good collaboration. Inspired by some photos from Allure Magazine as well as Monsoon Advertising Campaign, we pulled some truly unique pieces and accessories from some designer collections and also from my collections. Fatma and Mutiara helped me as assistants from preparation till the end. I really appreciate their effort.
The shoot is on location shoot using one headlamp and umbrella as light modifier. I was able to cut and shape the light to my needs in order to bring focus to key elements of the wardrobe and to dramatically light Pauline. Headlamp position was about 45 degrees from Pauline with different position, left or right from my camera. For some shoots, I positioned my lighting right in front of the model. We managed to shoot 5 outfits that day, and all of outfits very much fit to Pauline especially for colour and design, not really for size though :).
I am sooo happy with the result. Pauline trully has stunning look as a model, every step she moved was so fantastic and Also Evara, who translated my concept, amazingly created an awesome work. Fatma and Tiara did a good job as well. Here are some photos ...
